Clash with biker leads to arrest in Coeur d’Alene
Coeur d’Alene police arrested a 44-year-old man suspected of veering his vehicle toward a motorcycle.
Witnesses say Athol resident Keith Williams got out of his vehicle at a stoplight near U.S. Highway 95 and Neider Ave., approached a motorcycle rider and punched him in the head.
A chase then ensued, according to police, with the motorcycle rider firing a bullet from his small-caliber handgun toward the front tire of Williams’ vehicle.
Police say they spoke to witnesses and the motorcycle rider and arrested Williams for aggravated assault.
