Ahern is tested

Recent Spokesman articles (including your endorsement) concerning the 6th Legislative District’s contested House seat portray John Ahern in the wrong light. John is a longtime district resident (unlike his GOP opponent) who is a principled individual that understands the spending problem underlying the state’s deficit.

If elected, he can be counted on to support measures that will directly reduce spending by eliminating wasteful Democratic programs.

Recently, John described to me his vision of implementing measures that have been successful in Indiana, such as privatization, outsourcing and the outright elimination of government programs. His opponent only speaks in generalities or promises to study the issue.

John Ahern is a tested friend of the taxpayer, business owner and all common sense 6th District residents.
