Haze darkening sunny skies

Haze caused by fires in the region is blocking today’s blue skies and sunshine. But it won’t stop the heat. The high today is forecast near 90, according to the National Weather Service. Clouds are expected to move in tonight along with a 20 percent chance of showers. But forecasters do not expect enough wind to clear the air caused by the fires in British Columbia and Wenatchee areas. Despite possible rain, tonight’s low expected to be near 60, according to the Weather Service. The chance for thunderstorms continues Wednesday and Thursday as temperatures reach the lower 90s, according to the Weather Service. The clouds are expected to move out Friday for sunny skies and mid 80s.
