Many thanks to The Spokesman-Review for its careful, thoughtful and thorough coverage of the elections and candidates.

Congratulations to the Spokane community for fielding so many qualified candidates for county assessor, a crucial contest.

In making the difficult choice, I urge you to consider the benefit to us all of having an accomplished real estate practitioner. The assessor sets the taxes for each owner and user by assigning values to each parcel.
