Body recovered from Lake Coeur d’Alene

Associated Press
COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department says the body of an 82-year-old man has been recovered from Coeur d’Alene Lake. Authorities responded on Saturday after receiving reports the man’s car had been parked at the Carlin Bay Homeowner’s Association Marina for several days. Police say items found at a boat slip indicated he was in the process of securing his boat but never finished. Divers were sent in and found the man’s body in 32 feet of water directly under the boat slip. The man’s name has not been released. An autopsy is planned.
