New faces

Global Credit Union has hired Jessica Warner as a member services representative for the company’s main office member services department in Spokane. She previously worked as a cashier for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska. The company has also hired Malinda Stein as a member services representative for the company’s Argonne Branch. She previously worked for Horizon Credit Union in Spokane Valley as a member services representative and has 10 years of related experience.

Durtschi and Associates, a division of Storhaug Engineering Inc., has hired Gary Briant as a professional land surveyor. He has 38 years of related experience, is president of the Idaho Society of Professional Land Surveyors, is licensed in Washington, Idaho and Montana, and is a certified federal surveyor.

Feltman, Gebhardt, Greer and Zeimantz has hired JP Diener as an attorney. He previously practiced law in Wenatchee for the past five years and is a graduate of the University of Idaho College of Law. He has previous experience in health law and commercial and real estate litigation, and is licensed to practice in Washington and the Eastern and Western Federal Districts of Washington. The firm also hired Michael Nelson as an attorney. He previously worked for the drug unit in the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office and has experience in insurance defense. He is an Army veteran and graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law.

Windermere Real Estate/City Group LLC has hired Michele Buck and Ryan Bishop as sales associates in its Spokane office. Buck previously worked for Coldwell Banker Tomlinson Valley and holds Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Certified Negotiation Expert designations. Bishop holds an ABR designation and previously worked for John L. Scott.

Dr. Monte Zarlingo has joined the subspecialist radiology team at Inland Imaging. Zarlingo previously worked for Virtual Radiologic in Minnetonka, Minn., as a staff radiologist. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry/cell biology from the University of California, San Diego, and a medical degree from the medical college at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed both his internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine and completed fellowships in breast and body imaging at William Beaumont Medical Center and in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. He has extensive emergency room and MRI experience and is a board-certified breast and body radiology subspecialist.

Connie Chapman has joined Inland Psychiatry and Psychology as a licensed social worker. She has four years of therapist experience and specializes in eye movement desensitization reprocessing and the Gottman Method of couples therapy. Kate McAlister has been hired as president and CEO of the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce. She previously served as corporate community investment manager for Itron Inc. and has more than 20 years of corporate program development and marketing experience. She is a graduate of Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship, Carroll School of Business.

Promotions

Nicholas Knapton, P.S. promoted Janet Doyle from staff to firm administrator and Emily Magnuson from intern to Staff B Accountant.

Banner Bank has promoted Julie Orenstein from vice president/retail branch manager of the Spokane Southeast Boulevard and Spokane Valley Sprague and Mullan branches to vice president/retail division manager for 16 retail branches in the Spokane region. She has been with the company since 2004.

Lamont Miles has been promoted by Avista Utilities to district manager for St. Maries, Idaho. He has been with the company since 2003.

Rex Fairfield has earned national certification in adult education and literacy from the Leadership Excellence Academy developed by the National Adult Education Professional Development Consortium and ProLiteracy. Fairfield is the adult basic education/GED director for North Idaho College.

Cornel Rasor has been elected to serve on the Panhandle Health District Board of Health. Rasor is a county commissioner for District 1 for Bonner County.
