Bomb destroys car at Grant County food plant
Warden, Wash. – A bomb destroyed a car at a Grant County food plant Saturday night, authorities said.
Grant County Emergency Management spokesman Kyle Foreman said no injuries were reported.
A security guard reported a car had exploded in the employee parking lot of Lamb Weston/BSW, a frozen potato supplier located in Warden. Investigators found an improvised explosive device planted inside the car.
Foreman said it’s unclear who planted the device, or why the vehicle or the vehicle’s owner was targeted. No other vehicles or structures were damaged.
