Missing girl found but “uncooperative”
Spokane Police have confirmed that a missing 16-year-old girl contacted her mother today, although she will not return home.
Police said Alyssia D. Tancredi is “uncooperative,” and think she may be somewhere in the West Central neighborhood or Northtown Mall area.
They originally thought Tancredi was being held against her will after text messages she sent her mother on Tuesday evening, but today she contacted her mother with her cell phone, Police said. Police also noticed Tancredi uploaded photos onto her Facebook since her mother reported her missing around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
