South Side stabbing under investigation

A stabbing Thursday evening on Spokane’s lower South Hill is under investigation today by police. Details of the incident were not available this morning, but KHQ-TV reported that the female victim was likely to survive several stab wounds. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The incident occurred Thursday night at the Residence Court Apartments at Fifth Avenue and Jefferson Street.
