A 69-year-old man died Saturday after a combine accident near Endicott, Wash.
The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office said the man, whose name was not released, was working with another person to perform maintenance on the combine around 11:30 a.m. As the other person started to drive the combine forward, the man fell underneath the rear tire.
He was alive when sheriff’s deputies arrived, police said, and was transported via MedStar to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, where he died.
