Idaho crop duster walks away from crash uninjured
MOSCOW — Authorities say a 40-year-old pilot whose crop duster crashed in a field in North Idaho walked away from the incident unharmed.
The Latah County sheriff’s office says Peter T. Fountain, of Genesee, was passing over a field when he struck the ground early Wednesday.
Fountain was flying a 1979 single-engine Gulfstream AM G-164B, which was heavily damaged during the crash, but rescue crews reported no injuries.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash.
