Highway 395 crash kills motorcyclist
A 58-year-old Bellevue man died Thursday when his motorcycle collided with a car on U.S. Highway 395 south of Deer Park.
Richard P. Wittgenstein was riding his 2007 Harley-Davidson south on the highway shortly before 5 p.m. when a northbound 2007 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Richard A. Handley, 65, of Loon Lake crossed over the centerline, striking Wittgenstein, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Wittgenstein, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene. Handley sustained minor injuries that were treated at the scene.
The crash occurred near Half Moon Road and blocked the highway for several hours. Charges are pending, the WSP said.

Your opening sentence is misleading. Wittgenstein did not collide with the car - the driver who crossed almost two lanes of traffic collided with him. Starting off an article this way is misleading. It should be changed so readers are aware of how the crash occurred in the first sentence.
