Mosque plan moral blow

I am in disbelief that Obama is supporting the building of a mosque near the 9/11 attack site. I suppose nothing shocks me anymore if it’s from Washington, D.C. Well, Mr. Obama, those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it. Economic depression, revolution, terrorism; America is no exception. To those who say, “It’ll never happen here,” it has and will again.

The Muslim’s right to build there is not the issue. Look at it from a moral view. Why there? It’s a slap in the face to the memory of the victims and their families by the Muslim radicals that turned the world upside down that day. Based on what I see nowadays and the trends set in motion (including Obama’s latest), the radicals have won. Score two for bin Laden.

In the name of “freedom,” we have become captives. America is “politically correcting” itself into oblivion. The true consequences of today’s impetuous political correctiveness will truly be realized when our children come to us asking, “What was America like?” and “Why did you give it up so easy?”

A Muslim mosque at ground zero is tantamount to building a Hitler memorial at Auschwitz; Legal? Yes. Morally right? No.
