Stuff the Bus Campaign - Donate school supplies to local children in need Aug. 16-20, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. in the Spokane Valley Costco parking lot, 5601 E. Sprague Ave. Supplies needed include: notebook paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, blunt scissors, erasers, rulers, supply boxes, tissues, crayons, glue sticks, tennis shoes, folders, three-ring binders, calculators and graph paper. Arbor Crest Wine Concert Series - Singlewide, roots rock; Aug. 29: Timmy Swift & the Swingin’ Vinos, seven-piece swing/rock band. No one under age 21, no outside alcohol allowed. Inland Northwest Camaro Open Auto Show - 20th annual event with 35 different classes for every make of car. Register 9-11 a.m.; judging is noon-2 p.m., with awards presented at 3 p.m. Registration fee includes: commemorative t-shirt, dash plaque and a “goodie bag” to the first 200 participants registered for the show.
