Sizing up Republicans

Hmm. The primary election is over, let’s focus on what the Republican Party is standing up for.

They don’t like Muslims or the mosques. They don’t like immigrants and fight to keep them illegal. They don’t like the science behind global warming or even the scientists. They don’t like any kind of change and purposely vote against anything that the Democrats put up to vote on. They complain and campaign for lower taxes even though the working/middle class doesn’t have the money or jobs to buy anything anyway.

They are for giving corporations the same constitutional rights as humans, decided by a majority of Supreme Court justices appointed by Republican presidents.

They probably like the most current decision by the 9th Court of Appeals out of California that gives people the right to lie when they falsely claim a military honor or decoration (Stolen Valor Act), which was also decided by justices appointed by Republicans.

So when you are out there listening to stump speeches and questioning the candidates, make sure to ask specific questions and get specific answers. Then you will know how to vote.
