Peddle fee ideas elsewhere

Spokane City Councilmen Jon Snyder and Richard Rush think a city “bike registration fee” is needed? Not!

Leave the poor, beleaguered cyclists alone. We pay big-time with federal, state and local road taxes. We dodge rude/dangerous motorists. We’re soaked in the winter and baked in the summer.

Oil spills and vehicle emissions have destroyed this planet.

One bike equals minus one car. You should pay us for the vital service we contribute.

Donate to Greenpeace or the Sierra Club, but stay the heck away from us cyclists with your fees.

We bike and we vote.
