Tractor-trailer falls on men, killing one
One man was killed and one seriously injured after a tractor-trailer they were working on fell off its hoist Tuesday near Pullman, according to the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office.
David E. Zorb, 33, of Pullman, was pronounced dead at the scene after the tractor-trailer he was working on fell and crushed him to death at the Shawnee Industrial Site on Whelan Road one mile north of Pullman, according to Sheriff Brett Myers.
Travis B. Deerkop, 24, of Garfield, Wash., was in serious condition with head and chest injuries, Myers said in a news release.
