Murray will head up party’s Senate races

By The Spokesman-Review

Sen. Patty Murray will serve as the head of the Senate Democrats’ campaign operation for the next two years.

A statement Tuesday from outgoing Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chairman Robert Menendez congratulated Murray on her selection, calling her the best choice to head the committee and noting she won her campaign this year against a tough opponent. The DSCC is in charge of getting Democrats elected or re-elected to the Senate in the coming campaign cycle.
