Lilac Festival announces Fab 14
The Spokane Lilac Festival Association has announced the names of its 14 queen and royal court candidates for the 2011 Ignite the Spirit of America Lilac Festival.
Dubbed the Fab 14, the high school girls will compete to be on the royal court during a weekend of interviews culminating with the Royalty Coronation ceremony held Jan. 30 at 3:30 p.m. in the Spokane Masonic Center, 1108 W. Riverside Ave.
Tickets go on sale Jan. 1 and are available at www.spokanelilac festival.org.
