Driver dies when semi crashes on U.S. 95

A 56-year-old Hayden man died Monday when his semi-tractor and tanker trailer crashed on U.S. Highway 95.

George J. McCormick was northbound on the highway when his 1996 Mack truck left the road about 3:15 p.m. for an unknown reason, according to Idaho State Police.

He was pronounced dead at Kootenai Medical Center.

The crash occurred at milepost 412, near Fighting Creek.
