Cougs loyal to Wulff

I couldn’t make it to the Spokane Cougar luncheon on Monday, but I had a message for Paul Wulff.

Most of the Cougars in attendance today have been spending the last month defending the progress of the present Cougars football program and its coaching staff to fans who know little more than your won-lost record.

That being said, I’m not too sure any other BCS team whose coach went 5-32 in his first three years would be retained.

All we ask is that when you take us to our next Rose Bowl game, or maybe a national championship game some day, and the Alabamas of the world come knocking, remember today.

Patience is a virtue, loyalty is an honor.
