Tree knocks out power to parts of Cheney

A squall line with wind gusts in excess of 40 mph knocked out power in a large portion of Cheney this morning, according to Cheney City Light. Crews were working to restore the outage. No number was given on outages. Electrical power is provided by a small city-owned utility in Cheney.
