In brief: Davis selected for airport board
Ryland “Skip” Davis, interim chief executive of the Spokane airports, is poised to move to the board of directors.
His joint appointment by Spokane County commissioners and Spokane Mayor Mary Verner is subject to the hiring of a new chief executive.
Commissioners Tuesday confirmed their selection of Davis to replace Irv Reed, whose term on the board expires at the end of the month.
Verner’s appointment of Davis this week must be confirmed by the Spokane City Council, which might act Monday or Jan. 3.
A pilot, Davis is a retired chief executive of Providence Health Care.
