Two-car crash on I-90 kills one, injures one

One person was killed and another was critically injured after a two-car crash in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 Wednesday about 3:45 p.m. west of Post Falls. Idaho State Police said Donald Graham, 77, of Rathdrum, was driving a yellow Chevrolet Equinox westbound near milepost 3 when he was rear-ended by a Kia Optima driven by Lisa Calbick, 33, of Coeur d’Alene. Graham lost control of the Chevy, which rolled off the right shoulder and landed on its top. He was pronounced dead at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, police said. Calbick’s vehicle came to rest in the median. She was taken to KMC and was in critical condition Wednesday night, police said. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts and police said neither weather nor alcohol was a factor.
