Washington State adds defensive end

Washington State football coach Paul Wulff announced Friday the signing of defensive end Ian Knight to a letter of intent.

Knight played for Butler Community College last season, recording 56 tackles and 5.5 sacks on his way to earning All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference honorable mention honors at defensive end.

“Ian is a very athletic player who will bring speed and quickness to our pass rush,” Wulff said. “He brings athleticism to our defensive line, which is needed, and we’re excited to have him on board.”
