Free meals offered today, Saturday

Looking for somewhere to go for Christmas? Several area restaurants and organizations in North Idaho are offering free meals today and Christmas Day to anyone in need this holiday season. Here are the ones we have heard of:

• KC’s Breakfast Club, 740 Cecil Road, Suite 101, Post Falls, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday

• G.W. Hunters, 615 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Toys will be given to children 1 to 12 years old while supplies last. To volunteer or make a money or toy donation, call (208) 777-9388.

• Fresh Start, 1524 E. Sherman Ave., Coeur d’Alene, 9 a.m. today, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

• St. Vincent de Paul, 1317 N. First St., Coeur d’Alene, 5 to 6:30 p.m. today.

• St Vincent de Paul, 202 W. Seventh St., Post Falls (behind the store in the Kamps Apartment basement,) 4 to 7 p.m. today.

• Athol Community Center, 30355 N. Third St., Athol, noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.

• Lakeland High School, 7006 W. Highway 53, Rathdrum, noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, sponsored by Real Life Ministries.
