He stabbed Devron Parrish, 23, in the abdomen. Patrick McKenzie, 25, was cut on the leg and required stitches. Both were taken to a local hospital. Police said Parrish’s wounds required surgery. The victim may have suffered facial fractures and a laceration on his left hand.
McKenzie was booked into Spokane County Jail. A 16-year-old also was booked into juvenile detention, police said, and there is an additional 16-year-old suspect who has not been arrested. The case will be forwarded to the Gang Enforcement Team for follow-up.
