Idaho Vandals

RECORD: 10-11 overall, 2-7 WAC

COMING UP: Saturday at Boise State, 6:05 p.m.

OUTLOOK: With gritty wins over Seattle University and Fresno State last week, the Vandals seemed to recapture the balanced, aggressive play that they displayed in toppling Utah and Portland earlier this season. Idaho received at least seven points from seven players in its win at Seattle, while Brazilian forward Luiz Toledo contributed an efficient 16 points in each triumph. Toledo’s emergence is a positive sign. The Vandals have missed a consistent interior presence for much of the season, particularly during a six-game losing streak that ended last week. Idaho’s trip to Boise State comes less than two weeks after the Broncos pulled out an OT win in Moscow.
