In brief: StageWest offers ‘Breaking Legs’

CHENEY – StageWest Community Theatre will perform “Breaking Legs” at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 639 Elm St. in Cheney. Performances will be Fridays through Sundays, through Feb. 14, and Feb. 19, and 20. Friday shows will be at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday shows at 7 p.m., and Sunday performances at 3:30 p.m.

Saturday performances feature an Italian-themed dinner theatre, catered by Lenny’s American and Italian Restaurant in Cheney.

Tickets are $10 per person. Dinner show tickets are $25 per person. Seating for the dinner theatre is limited.

Tickets may be purchased at Owl Drug stores in Cheney and Medical Lake.

Help for students’ job search

CHENEY – Eastern Washington University students will have an opportunity to get a jump on job hunting.

EWU will hold the annual Backpack to Briefcase Networking Luncheon Friday, from noon to 2 p.m., in the Hargreaves Library on the Eastern Campus.

Cost for the luncheon is $8.

Students also are invited to the Partnership in Employment Career Fair Feb. 24, from 2 to 6 p.m., at the Spokane Convention Center. More than 100 employers from a variety of fields are scheduled to take part in the fair.
