AARP Tax-Aide Program – Tax Counselors are needed for the AARP Tax-Aide Program, which provides free personal income tax form preparation to middle- and low-income wage-earners. Counselors will assist individuals with the preparation of their tax returns in accordance with the guidelines established between the IRS and the AARP Foundation. In addition, greeters are also needed to welcome the individuals and review their paperwork prior to meeting with the counselors. And, a local coordinator is also needed for tax sites, to recruit, appoint, ensure adequate training, supervise and evaluate counselors. Training is provided for all positions. Inland Northwest Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society – Inland Northwest Chapter is looking for volunteers to assist the staff with receptionist duties, data entry, filing and hands-on projects in preparation for special events.
