Recession’s effects far-reaching

The Spokesman-Review

In The Spokesman-Review, Jan. 27, there was an article stating the job-loss total was 27 million in 2009. The recession is worldwide for some strange reason and not just in the U.S. The countries involved were named.

Being a strong Democrat, I was happy to blame George Bush, but now the Republicans are blaming Obama. Go figure. The article was from Switzerland and stated the situation may not improve in 2010. The source was a United Nations labor agency. Bottom line: Cross fingers and tighten your belts another notch.
