Wash. Senate allows more to OK medical marijuana
OLYMPIA — More medical professionals will be allowed to authorize the use of medical marijuana for qualified patients under a measure approved by the Washington state Senate.
On a 37-11 vote Friday, the Senate passed a bill that adds physician assistants, naturopaths and others to the list of those who can officially recommend marijuana for patients under the state’s medical marijuana law. Under current law, only physicians are allowed to write the recommendation.
The measure now heads to the House for further consideration.
The medical marijuana measure is Senate Bill 5798.

I don’t need a doctor’s scrip to consume our Lord’s good green herb.
Nor a governments’ commission.

Will this really mean anything? Not likely, the people that want to smoke still will. Making people go through a doctor won’t work when most people wont have any health insurance in the coming years.
Will the cops still be able to follow and harass patents? Will the cops still be able to bust dispensaries, yes on both counts is my guess.
I would bet this has some thing to do with pharmaceutical companies wanting to get into the gold mine.
This is just another smoke screen maneuver.

What it means, is that people with a script for MJ wont get fired if they get UA’d. That is huge!!
