Car crash sends four to Kootenai Medical

Four Coeur d’Alene-area residents were treated and released from Kootenai Medical Center on Thursday night after a two-car collision on U.S. Highway 95 at Orchard Avenue.

Driver Shannon R. McCart and passengers Kerri Remp and Amanda Case were treated along with a second driver, Dawnelle Parsons.

McCart was headed west on Orchard when she failed to yield right of way at a stop sign, according to Idaho State Police. McCart struck the rear of Parsons’ vehicle shortly after 8 p.m.
