SPOKANE VALLEY – Spokane Valley City Hall offices will be closed Monday in observance of Presidents Day. City offices will reopen with regular business hours Tuesday.

McIntosh Grange hosting breakfast

ROCKFORD – Have breakfast with your sweetheart at the pancake breakfast at McIntosh Grange in on Sunday.

Breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The price is $4 for adults and $2 for children age 10 and younger.

Democrats plan to meet Monday

VERADALE – The Washington state Fourth Legislative District Democrats will hold its off-year caucus at the Birch Tree Clubhouse, 304 S. Conklin Road, on Monday from 3 to 7 p.m.

Fourth District Democrats are invited and encouraged to attend. A suggested donation of $5 is requested.

Valley Chamber plans seminar

SPOKANE VALLEY – The Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce will host the “Win in 2010, Better Than We’ve Ever Been! How to Achieve Your Personal and Professional Best!” on Feb. 23 at CenterPlace Regional Event Center, 2426 N. Discovery Place in Spokane Valley.

Doors open at 7:30 a.m., and attendees can enjoy a continental breakfast. The program will begin at 8 a.m.

The event will feature Larry Davis with Convergent Solutions; Christina Balkenbush with RBC Wealth Management; Barbara Olson with Referral Institute; Amy Schell with American Family Insurance; and Louise Petropoulos of Coach Louise.

Tickets are $20 per person and reservations are required.
