Gang team investigates two shootings

The Spokane Violent Crime Gang Enforcement Team is investigating two shootings in northeast Spokane on Sunday.

Officers responded to the 800 block of East Lyons Avenue about 1:45 a.m. to a call of shots fired and found a car had been damaged.

Later that morning, a similar shooting occurred near North Nevada Street and East Joseph Avenue, police said.
