Sasquatch defeated
Emory Henning tossed in 26 points and Jason Smith scored 21 on seven 3-pointers to lead the Walla Walla Warriors (17-5, 9-3) to a 79-55 victory over the Community Colleges of Spokane Sasquatch (19-5, 9-3) in NWAACC basketball action Wednesday in Walla Walla.
Griffon Jones led CCS with 24 points, while Kevin Bond scored 12 and grabbed seven rebounds.
Women’s basketball
Tasha Harris scored 17 and Janie Bos added 12 points and 10 rebounds to propel the Boise State Broncos (16-9, 5-6) to a 73-63 Western Athletic Conference win over the visiting Idaho Vandals (6-18, 4-7).
Rachele Kloke led Idaho with 17 points.
Walla Walla 65, CC Spokane 64: Kati Isham had 22 points and nine rebounds and Nancy Johnson chipped in 16 points and 10 boards to lead the front-running Warriors (22-1, 11-1) past the visiting Sasquatch (15-8, 7-5) in NWAACC play.
Meghan Eisenmann scored a game-high 28 for CCS.
