Chiefs lose to Everett
Scott MacDonald scored the game-winner in the third for Everett and Thomas Heemskerk made 40 saves as the Silvertips beat the Spokane Chiefs 2-1 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.
Byron Froese also scored for Everett (40-19-4).
Kyle Beach had the only goal for Spokane (38-22-4), while James Reid made 25 saves in defeat.
