Girls State B: ACH 64, St. John-Endicott 48
YAKIMA — Nikki Osborne’s layup with 3:36 to play pushed third-ranked Almira/Coulee-Hartline ahead to stay, and the Warriors went on to beat No. 2-ranked St. John-Endicott 64-48 on Wednesday in the first round of the Class 1B girls state tournament.
Osborn, who finished with 13 points, started a 17-0 run over the next 2:17 seconds that sealed the victory. Osborn had six points during that span, and Sarah Gloyn, who led all ACH scorers with 16 points, chipped in a pair of 3-pointers in that stretch.
