Associated Press
YAKIMA — Nikki Osborne’s layup with 3:36 to play pushed third-ranked Almira/Coulee-Hartline ahead to stay, and the Warriors went on to beat No. 2-ranked St. John-Endicott 64-48 on Wednesday in the first round of the Class 1B girls state tournament. Osborn, who finished with 13 points, started a 17-0 run over the next 2:17 seconds that sealed the victory. Osborn had six points during that span, and Sarah Gloyn, who led all ACH scorers with 16 points, chipped in a pair of 3-pointers in that stretch. Madeline Isaak added 15 points for the Warriors (21-3), who lost to SJE in the first round last year. Alli Winters led the Eagles (20-4) with 12 points, and Kelly Van Lith had 11 points and 11 rebounds. Teammate Trisha Luft pulled down a game-high 17 rebounds.
