Avista bid deserves a ‘no’

The Spokesman-Review

Avista reported an 18 percent gain in net income last year; Avista also added 1,800 new electric customers and 2,000 new natural gas customers. Why then do they ask regulators for permission to raise utility rates to take effect late 2010 or early 2011? I hope these regulators have the courage to stand up and say NO!
