YAKIMA — Haley Moser scored a game-high 23 points and No. 1 Colton raced to a 76-18 quarterfinal victory over Bickleton on Thursday in the Class 1B girls state tournament.

Moser made 7 of 16 shots, including 5 of 12 3-pointers. Mollie Kramer added 12 points for the Wildcats (23-1).

Colton scored the first 20 points of the game, and the Pirates (17-8) never got closer than 15 points.

Katelynn Clinton, who scored a short-lived, single-game scoring record 35 points in Wednesday’s opener, led Bickleton with just 7 points against Colton.

Colton’s defense came up with 21 steals, including four by Erin Weber, and forced Bickleton into 39 turnovers.
