New Year’s Day closures

The following offices and services are affected by the holiday.

• All city, county, state and federal offices, including U.S. post offices and public libraries, are closed.

• Washington and Idaho state liquor stores are closed.

• Banks are closed.

• Garbage pickup will be one day late throughout Spokane and Kootenai counties.

• Free parking in downtown Spokane and Coeur d’Alene; meters don’t have to be plugged.
