Newport man injured when pickup rolls over

The Spokesman-Review
A Newport man driving with a suspended license was injured Tuesday night when his vehicle went out of control on an icy U.S. Highway 2 south of Colbert Road in north Spokane County. David W. Brown, 47, was taken to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center for treatment and released, a medical center spokeswoman said this morning. Brown was headed south on U.S. 2 about 8:30 a.m. when he lost control and went off the road to the right, rolling his 1991 Toyota pickup. State troopers said Brown was cited for driving too fast for conditions and driving with license suspended.
