Spokane Lilac Festival candidates announced
The Spokane Lilac Festival has announced the 13 candidates for Lilac Queen.
The candidates will compete for the crown during a coronation ceremony Jan. 31 at the Spokane Masonic Center. One queen and six princesses will be chosen.
The candidates are: Madison Hilpert, Central Valley; Caitlin Miller, Cheney; Mariah Clark, East Valley; Jade Heidinger, Ferris; Meg Cressey, Gonzaga Prep; Ellen Taylor, Lewis and Clark; Jen Choi, Mead; Myryda Johnson, Medical Lake; Larae Stotts, Mt. Spokane; Ciara Mielke, North Central; Hayley Hill, Northwest Christian; Katrina Knizek, Shadle Park; and Savanah Atabelo, West Valley.
