Colville edges Cheney in OT
Jorden Brons scored just four points for Colville, but her last two came with 12 seconds left and gave Colville the lead for good as the Indians upended Cheney 59-57 in overtime Friday in Colville.
Tanna Morris led the Indians (6-1, 1-0) with 21 points, while Alli Brown and Laikyn Brophy each paced the Blackhawks (4-4, 0-2) with 16.
Clarkston 64, Riverside 40: Kellie McCann-Smith was everywhere for the Bantams (3-3, 1-0), scoring 22 points and filling the stat book with 14 rebounds, six assists and five steals against the Rams (1-5, 0-1) in Riverside.
West Valley 45, Deer Park 32: Hannah Love finished with 26 points and the Eagles (7-0, 2-0) pulled away after a tight first quarter, opening a 20-point lead at the end of the third quarter against the Stags (3-5, 0-2) in Deer Park.
Pullman 57, Medical Lake 27: Nine players contributed to the scoring for the Greyhounds (4-3, 1-0), led by Jordan Levenseller’s 12 points, and the Cardinals (2-6, 1-1) tallied just three first-half points, shooting 1 of 17 from the floor in Medical Lake.

Moscow 57, Sandpoint 26: The Bears (3-11, 1-1) knocked off the Bulldogs (1-12, 0-2) in Sandpoint.

Lakeside 71, Chewelah 23: Leslie Stillar had 21 points, Jamie Campbell chipped in a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds and the Eagles (11-1, 2-0) held the Cougars (1-11, 0-1) to 23 percent shooting, forcing 30 turnovers at Nine Mile Falls.
Freeman 57, Kettle Falls 27: MacKenzie Taylor finished with 16 points and four assists and the Scotties (12-0, 2-0) took control against the Bulldogs (5-5, 0-2) early, holding a 22-point lead by halftime in Kettle Falls.

Cusick 64, Inchelium 35: Jamie Adams led three players in double figures with 19 points and the Panthers (2-8, 1-5) dominated the Hornets (0-10, 0-7) in the first and third quarters, outscoring them 47-15 in those two periods in Inchelium.
Columbia 37, Wellpinit 27: The Redskins (4-6, 3-3) held the Lions (9-2, 6-1) to just 14 first-half points, but the visiting Lions turned things around in the second half, scoring 23 points and pulling away for the 10-point win in the fourth quarter, led by Julie Ann Larew’s 13 points.
St. George’s 40, Republic 28: Chessey Thomas scored eight points with seven rebounds, four assists and four blocks, Morgan Cambarari scored 12 points and the Dragons (11-1, 6-0) scored 25 points in the second and third quarters, forcing 16 turnovers, to hand the Tigers (7-2, 4-1) their first league loss at St. George’s.
Curlew 46, St. Michael’s 27: Noel TeMoananui scored 15 points with 10 rebounds and the Cougars (5-4, 3-3) scored 30 points against the Warriors (0-7, 0-6) in the second and third quarters to take a 19-point lead at St. Michaels.
Springdale 51, Selkirk 33: Haley Goad came off the bench to tally a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds and the Chargers (13-0, 7-0) held a nine-point lead against the Rangers (5-8, 4-4) and kept adding in the second for the win in Ione.
District 9 North
St. John-Endicott 53, LaCrosse-Washtucna 38: Alli Winters hit four 3-pointers and scored 15 points, Kelsey Simon added 14 and the Eagles (10-0, 4-0) pulled away from the host Tigercats (3-8, 0-4) in the second half, pushing a four-point halftime lead to 15 by the end of the game.
Asotin 41, Pomeroy 30: Shelby Barnes knocked down 6 of 10 shots for a game-high 18 points and the Panthers (7-4, 2-0) knocked off the Pirates (3-6, 0-3) in Asotin.
Colton 66, Garfield-Palouse 17: Kelsey Moser scored 28 points on 10-of-14 shooting, Mollie Kramer added 11 with a pair of 3-pointers and the Wildcats (8-0) rolled early against the Vikings (0-7) with a 33-6 edge in the first half in a 2B/1B matchup.
Rosalia 48, Tekoa-Oakesdale 44: Katelyn Maley hit 3of 3 from 3-point range for 17 points and added seven rebounds and the Spartans (7-5) hit 7 of 11 free throws down the stretch to hold off the Nighthawks (4-4) in Rosalia in a 2B/1B matchup.

Mullan 51, Kootenai 24: Morgan Koenig dominated the paint for the Tigers (5-6, 2-2), scoring 16 points to go with 18 rebounds in a double-double, and they held the Warriors (1-6, 0-2) to 11 points in the first half, building a 20-point lead by halftime in Mullan.

Lind-Ritzville 51,
Sprague-Harrington 29: Kelsey Arlt scored 14 points, including a pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter, as the Broncos (5-6) shot 40 percent in the first half to build a 17-point lead over the Falcons (2-9) going into the break.
Colfax 62, Odessa 9: Brittney Burke scored 13 points, Kayla Johnson added 12 and the Bulldogs (7-2) dominated the Tigers (2-7), holding them to two points in the second half in Odessa.
Almira/Coulee-Hartline 54, Davenport 42: Nikki Osborne’s double-double, with 13 points and 11 rebounds, led the Warriors (10-1) over the Gorillas (4-6), despite a game-high 21 points from Miranda Mielke.
Valley Christian 57, Wilbur-Creston 19: The Panthers (6-4) outscored the Wildcats (2-10) 22-4 in the first quarter and held a 31-point lead at half at home.
