Marshall Powell, general manager of the Elk Public House family of restaurants in Spokane, pours tequila into bottles after removing the various concoctions he was using to infuse the liquor with special flavors at El Que, the group’s newest bar and restaurant.

The name of the restaurant El Que is a play on the name Elk, which is the adjacent restaurant, under the same ownership.

A smothered tamale is on the menu at El Que. The new bar and restaurant features various tequila infusions and taco truck food.
