Eastern Washington Eagles

RECORD: 6-11 overall, 2-2 Big Sky

COMING UP: Friday vs. Northern Arizona, 5:05 p.m. (SWX); Saturday vs. Northern Colorado, 7:05 p.m.

OUTLOOK: Eastern plays at home for the second time since mid-December. The Eagles open their two-game homestand against Northern Arizona (7-9, 1-4) before entertaining conference co-leader Northern Colorado, winner of six straight. The Eagles’ front line will get another major test against NAU, with is tied for second in the Big Sky with a rebounding margin of plus-1.2 per game. But the key to Saturday’s matchup against UNC (15-3, 4-1) will be Eastern’s ability to deal with the Bears’ 1-2 perimeter punch of senior Will Figures (15.9 ppg) and junior Devon Beitzel (15.0 ppg).
