Keep an eye on City Hall

The Spokesman-Review

Obviously the city of Spokane is not as financially strapped as it lets on. There are red light cameras at many intersections and the city is going to get more of them. Being as the city has an abundance of money to spend watching us, I think as taxpayers we should demand to have cameras installed in all city offices, especially each manager’s office, and also in all their meetings so we taxpayers can see if we’re getting our money’s worth. They watch us, and we watch them.

Do the city taxpayers know that when a red light ticket is mailed to you that the traffic fine is sent to Phoenix? Hmmm. City government needs to thin the upper management ranks. Don’t balance your budget on our backs.
