Man found dead in Lake Coeur d’Alene ID’d

A man found dead in Lake Coeur d’Alene has been identified as Ira L. Loudenback, 76, of Coeur d’Alene. A couple walking their dog spotted his body about 8:15 a.m. a short distance from the shore of Sanders Beach, said Sgt. Christie Wood. Loudenback did not have any visible injuries to his body, and the investigation is ongoing. There were no reports of a missing person in recent days, Wood said.
