Eastern Washington Eagles

RECORD: 6-13 overall, 2-4 Big Sky

COMING UP: Friday at Idaho St., 6 p.m.; Saturday at Weber St., 6 p.m.

OUTLOOK: Eastern goes traveling again, this time to test itself against the Big Sky’s cellar dweller, Idaho State, and penthouse occupant, Weber State. The Eagles are coming off a pair of morale-sapping home losses and in desperate need of increased offensive production from their veteran front line. ISU’s Bengals proved they can play with the best last weekend when they pushed Weber State into a third overtime before losing at home 95-93. EWU’s bigger challenge will come against Weber, a team that features the BSC’s leading scorer in sophomore guard Damian Lillard (19.4 ppg) and ranks No. 1 in Big Sky rebounding margin with an average of plus-2.8 per game.
